EXPERIENCE
Black Girls Who Paint Presents: Femininity Defined From July 1st-August 1st, 2021, my paintings The Savior and Congo are showcased in an online gallery exhibition examining divine femininity independent of the female body.
The Triton Museum of Art: Salon at the Triton From June 26 - September 12, 2021, my painting The Witch will be showcased amongst 121 portrait and figurative paintings in this renown museum that’s based in Santa Clara, California.
The Holy Art Presents: REFLECTIONS Virtual Exhibition From May 25-31, 2021, two of my paintings showcased in this virtual exhibition that is based in London, England.
The Black Art Sessions Presents: STRAIGHT LICK Inspired by the phenomenal calls that taught over 150 black students around the world about opportunities in the art world, especially the commercial gallery. Straight Lick is B.A.S’s first exhibition, and all the members involved participate in running the gallery. From the artists, curators, registrars, archivists, and so on. The exhibition opened May 2021 and is still active since it’s an online exhibition.
Diaspora: Coral Springs Museum of Art From March 15th through May 1st, 2021, one of my recent paintings has the luxury of being exhibited amongst other work that creates conversation about cultures, migration, and other topics in the diaspora theme.
Pushing the Culture: October 16th-November 1st, 2019, the theme was having artists’ work that answers the following question: “what does a contemporary Black artist look like?”.
ArtStART Exhibitions: Since February 2018, I have exhibited some of my favorite or most notable pieces in within three shows until February 2019! At ArtStART, I was able to understand the exhilarating feeling of being a part of a group show and being present during the opening reception which took place during Artwalk which happens monthly in downtown Fort Lauderdale!
Black History Art Exhibit: During February 2019, my painting and other pieces relating to African Americans were on display and sale in a historical building in Old Ft. Lauderdale.
Senior Art Show: Mid-December 2018, Seniors at Dillard Center for the Arts curated their own show at the school’s gallery. This opportunity helped me understand how to plan and set up our own exhibitions.
Broward Art Guild Competition: In November 2018, selected high and middle school students participated in an exhibit in the Broward Main Library. My skateboard painting was voted as People’s Best Choice Award!
AP Superintendent Show: In January 2019, one of my painting were showcased and won third place at an AP exclusive art show that’s juried across Broward
